Created in 2008, the Award of Mechanical Engineering is the first International Prize in this industry that acknowledges the quality and design excellence of machine tools and production systems. Conceived to promote and spread the foundation of values that supports a strategic sector such as the mechanical industry, the award will be assigned to the best designs of instrumental goods. The Award of Mechanical Engineering will be assigned based on a preliminary selection by an Observatory of Excellence, a Commission of Experts (university professors, communication agencies, engineers and industry representatives, trade press) who will collect information and data to identify and evaluate the best solutions exhibited.
